Walt Disney Co. announces new CEO

On Sunday November 20th, the Walt Disney company announced the stepping down of Bob Chapek, CEO of the company and his successor, a familiar face to Disney fans, former CEO Bob Iger. Iger will hold the position for the next two years and he has been tasked with setting a “strategic direction for renewed growth”.

What this step means for the future of the company still remains to be seen but Disney fans are hopeful that it is a step in the right direction in moving guest satisfaction in a more positive way than some reports have shown in the past few years.
