New Meet & Greet at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Guests at Hollywood Studios were met with an expected surprise at the sight of The Mandalorian and Grogu strolling through the paths of Batuu. The duo had been meeting guests at Batuu West but there had been no announcements that they would be traveling to Batuu East as well. According to Disney, The Mandalorian and Grogu will make regular appearance and will not be offered for a limited time only.
New Topiaries at Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival
The 2023 International Flower and Garden festival opened this week and when it did, it premiered several new topiaries. At the entrance, guests are welcomed by Mirabel, Antonio, Isabela, and Luisa from Encanto, while back at the American Pavilion, Princess Tiana has been added in her ball gown.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2023 will run from March 1 through July 5.
Typhoon Lagoon Reopening Date
This week Disney announced that Typhoon Lagoon Water park would reopen on March 19, 2023 after being closed for refurbishment. Speaking of refurbishment, when Typhoon Lagoon opens, Blizzard Beach will be closing the same day for its own cleaning and refurbishment.
