Hurricane Nicole

Weeks after evaluating and closing the parks in Walt Disney World for Hurricane Ian, Disney did so again ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Nicole on November 9th. They secured guests from the campground, cabins, bungalows, and regular hotel guests within the resort buildings. Thankfully Hurricane Nicole was downgraded to a Tropical Storm once it hit landfall and the weather calmed down enough for everything to reopen on November 10th.

Adventureland Treehouse Returns

After many months of hiding what was to come of the former Tarzan’s Treehouse in Disneyland, the Imagineers released concept art. The artwork showed that the new look would actually be based on an old one, that of the original concept of the treehouse inspired by the Swiss Family Robinson movie released in the 60s. However, it will not be a duplicate of the original one, there will be new additions and enhancements. The Adventureland Treehouse is set to reopen in 2023.
